The unit is slightly larger than a standard male fitting of a quick connect coupler. It attaches and operates with the same ease as a standard male air coupler fitting. The first function is to eliminate air surges and uncontrolled hose snaking when disconnecting an air hose at the main air line. The HOZE-BLOZ allows the air to escape the hose at a controlled rate, making the hose limp and easy to coil within a few seconds. The second function is to eliminate the violent, dangerous, hose snaking, should rupture of the hose or disconnection of a fitting at the end of an air hose occur. HOSE-BLOZ leaves the hose limp and stops the flow of air through the hose until it can be safely disconnected. HOSE-BLOZ allows sufficient air to adequately power air tools that are presently in use.
