| A revolutionary new spot-weld remover has been invented by WIVCO Tool. Called the “WIV-E”tm. It is made totally in the USA. It’s ground in one chucking from a solid rod of High-Speed Steel. A new “State of the Art” compound-radii chisel cutting center and truly unique fluting makes the “WIV-E”tm a dream come true for every AUTO-BODY professional to enjoy.
A “WIV-E”tm will remove spot-welds using a hand electric drill, a 1,000 RPM air drill, or any one of the SPOT WELD guns, like the Dent-Fix’s “Annihilator”tm or NCG’s “spotle”tm (both excellent weld guns). To use “WIV-E”tm in these guns, a small flat has to be hand ground onto the rear end of “WIV-E”tm (ouch!) to lock the set screw in a positive manner. The “WIV-E”tm is 8MM or 5/16”diameter and packaged with a 6mm ball. This ball varies the length, depending which gun you are using. The drilling pressure with “WIV-E”tm is substantially less than with any other one piece spot-weld remover. Less pressure means faster removal with less heat and tool wear. All this at almost 1/2 the cost. |
